A truly extraordinary moment for our parish!!

After more than two years of praying, an application, approval and waiting, Fr. Tom Fangman received an authentic first-class relic of Saint Carlo Acutis while on pilgrimage in Italy.

At the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, Fr. Tom Fangman, alongside forty of our parishioners, was presented with the first-class relic, which is a small portion of Saint Carlo Acutis's hair! A first-class relic is a particle taken from the body of a saint and placed in a sealed reliquary. The reliquary is bound with red silk thread and secured with the bishop's official seal, certifying its authenticity.
