Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation in the Archdiocese of Omaha instills greater appreciation of sacramental life and fosters a sense of charity through an increased desire for a life in relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. This sacrament seals the gift of the Holy Spirit to the confirmed, binding that person to God and his Son, Jesus Christ, and strengthening Catholic faith.

Confirmation is bestowed on youths in the spring of 8th grade after instruction in 7th and 8th grades. High school students in need of Confirmation go through similar preparation and also receive the sacrament in the spring. For more information, contact the Family Formation Office at (402)289-4947.

Adults receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Easter Vigil liturgy after having gone through the RCIA process. For more information on RCIA, contact the Parish Office at (402)289-4289.
