PENNIES FOR PATIENTS DRIVE EXTENDED - Pennies for Patients has been extended until Wednesday, April 6th. We are approximately 9,000 oz. from last year's total and would like to match or exceed that amount. Seventh grade is first overall with an amazing 13,312 oz! The combination of 6 & 8th grade vs. seventh grade is really lagging! Kindergarten is first overall in the primary group with almost 1000 oz. Fifth grade is losing to fourth grade by 1,000 oz. Let's rally for the last 3 days & set a new record!
The shoe drive is off to a tremendous start. We have over 480 shoes ready to help the people at Heart Ministries. We are collecting shoes through April 15th & will be delivering on Monday, April 18th. A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this cause!
STUCO AND HEART MINISTRY SHOE DRIVE – The shoe drive is off to a tremendous start. We have over 480 shoes ready to help the people at Heart Ministy. During Lent, we are all walking in Jesus’ footsteps and this is a great way for us to follow in Jesus’ ministry to help others. We would like to fill our school with Jesus’ footsteps. For every pair brought, we will put up a footprint to show our journey through Lent. We will be collecting shoes until April 15th. The shoes may be gently loved or new. There will be a box available to put your donation in at the commons area. Please rubber band or tie the shoelaces together so we can keep them more easily as a matched set. We are collecting shoes through April 15th & will be delivering on Monday, April 18th. A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this cause!
2ND ANNUAL ARTISAN FAIR - Spring has sprung and it’s time to have some fun at the 2nd annual St. Patrick’s School Artisan Fair! This event is a chance for the Specials Teachers and their students to showcase the work they do throughout the school year. This year, the Fair will feature Kindergarten & First grade movies made in Computer Class, a collection of Art projects created by students in all nine grades, 3rd grade PE “Bone Activity” projects and some very special musicians showcasing their unique talents. The Spanish department will be treating us to some yummy international treats and we will have face painters on hand to delight all of our youngsters! And of course, we couldn’t host the Artisan Fair without the Scholastic Book Fair! The Book Fair is a fantastic opportunity to load up on great summer reading material to keep your kiddos in “learning mode” during June & July! The Artisan Fair will be held from 6:30-8:00 on Thursday, April 14th. We hope to see you there!
TUITION FINALIZED FOR 2011-2012 – Thank you for choosing to educate your children at St. Patrick’s School. The purpose of this note is to inform you of the decisions made by the School Administration, School Board and Parish Finance Committee regarding tuition for the 2011-2012 school year. As you know, God has blessed our school with a wonderful staff who teach with a great deal of passion to each child. Their caring commitment to your son or daughter is conveyed throughout each day as they continue to help build his/her character and knowledge. We also are very fortunate to have a spacious facility in which to educate the 740 students currently attending our school. The Parish Finance Committee, School Administration, and School Board recognize your desire to continue the quality of your child’s education. In order to maintain these standards, we need to increase tuition by approximately 6%. We know that the cost of a Catholic education is a sacrifice. But the end value is priceless and lasts a lifetime. You will find the tuition chart for the 2011-12 school year linked below.
