Locks of Love

LOCKS OF LOVE – On Tuesday, April 24th, we had forty students and six adults take part in the Locks of Love event.  Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.

Upon arrival, all participants had their hair placed into pony tails.  After having a minimum of 10 inches cut from everyone’s hair, the participants proudly turn in their pony tails to be made into hairpieces.  At St. Patrick’s, we are always encouraging the students to give and this provided the students a great opportunity for that to happen.
