SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS — I am pleased to announce that Kimberly Fangman will continue to be on our school board as she will begin their second term next fall.  We will be blessed with the addition of Dave Werner and Lisa Meyer to our school board.

The rest of the school board members include:  Pat Adler, Mike Socha, Wendy Anderson, and president, Steve Morrissey.  These board members along with a representative from our Home and School, Staci Wasikowski and a representative from the Religious Formation Program, Jackie Coco meet every second Monday during the school year.  The School board is an advisory committee to the principal and pastor.  Their main task is to create policy and support the major functions of the school.  God has blessed us with outstanding school board members each of the eight years.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Charlie Olson and Cindy Engel for their outstanding service on our School Board.

ATHLETIC COMMITTEE HONORS GREATS! - Thanks to Gallup and Hy-Vee the first annual St. Patrick's Sports Banquet was a great success!  The committee honored all parish athletes from the 5th through 8th grades, and presented some special awards.  Winning Sportsmanship Awards were the following athletes:  Mary Friedt, Clara Burns, Alex Loseke, Jillian Parlor, Regan Jones, Eddie Ridder, Chris Thomas, Cameron Macejiewski, Carly Mendlik, and Anna Spethman.  Receiving recognition for five years of coaching were: Mark Carson, Dan Hanus, Tricia Harder, Tim Jeffrey, Mike Johnston, Scott Nelson, Bill Thomas, Doug Thompson, Ron Uhing, and Don Wood.

MASCOT CONTEST PRODUCES WINNER - After receiving over 70 fantastically artistic and creative entries for the mascot contest, the athletic committee has presented St. Patrick's with a new logo.  The entries were narrowed down to six finalists by the committee, and a parish-wide vote was taken in late April.  The winning design was created by Christopher Goodrich, and features a capital "A" with a halo and the words "St. Patrick's" above, and "Angels" below.  Christopher will receive a specially designed t-shirt for his efforts.  The winning design was unveiled at the first annual St. Patrick's sports banquet on April 29th.  Parishioners will start seeing the design on St. Patrick's uniforms during the next school year.
