St. Patrick’s School Board Minutes

Oct. 10, 2005

Members Present: Mike Socha, Steve Morrissey, Deb Fangman, Cindy Engel, Pat Adler, Jackie Coco, Bob Wolf, and Don Ridder

Meeting opened with a prayer by Steve

Minutes: change $3200 to $32,000 raised by Book Fair.  Carnival raised $1778

              Mike moved, Cindy seconded to accept minutes with changes.

Home and School:

* Volunteer hours-H&S logged 8,000 hours through 10 committees on service to the school and parish

              *Minutes can be found on the Parish’s website

Parish Pastoral Council Report-Could minutes of PPC be on parish website?

Religious Formation- Nov. 9th, 6-7:30, open house

Pastor’s Report-None

Committee Representatives

              *Continuous Improvement- topic is learning atmosphere

*Questions for each constituency are being formed.

*Questionnaire going out Mid November to parishioners and to parents at Parent-Teachers Conferences.

*Development/Finance

              *Focus on Stewardship Fair

*Facilities

              *Committee will start meeting to formulate ideas

              *Ram Hingorani has been doing the parish office construction

              *New playground equipment and ½ semi load of mulch.

*Curriculum

*halfway through the review of science Curriculum, should be finished by January

*Safety

Principal’s report

              *Hired Deb Lee and Mike Obenauer for extended care

              *Don is very pleased with how things are going

Angela Davidson reported that parents have been positive regarding the school’s response to potential bullying incidents.
