Ms. Barb DeFreece - Library/Media Teacher 

The past 17 years I taught in Lincoln Public Schools. During my tenure with Lincoln Public Schools I was a regular classroom teacher and a special education teacher. I went to Kearney State College for my undergraduate work and plan to graduate from UNO in December, 2010 with my Masters in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Library Science.

I am eager to work with the students, families, and staff at St. Patrick’s. Working in a faith based atmosphere will be a refreshing way to go to work every day.

I am one of three children in my family, smack dab in the middle of two brothers. I have 2 nieces and 1 nephew and a TBA arriving in September. Family is very important to me and I cherish the time I spend with my parents, brothers and their families. Often on cold Sunday afternoons we can be found at the kitchen table at my parent’s house playing dominoes.
