    January 9, 2007

    Prayer for Teachers

Last meeting minutes reviewed and approved.

    President’s report:

The points that were accumulated on a credit card from the purchase of SCRIP have been turned over to the Auction Committee to decide what the committee needs for an additional auction item. This will be our donation item to the Auction.

    Vice-President’s report:

School board report – discussion of budgets; teachers; hiring opportunities; plans for next year.

Grounds committee requested other church committee’s support in the upkeep of the grounds this summer. April and October would be the months of overall work where we ask everyone’s support. When asked for support, Men’s club suggested the clubs break it out in to one week per month during the summer months of June, July and August.  It was proposed that H & S, Men’s Club, Knights and then the church/RF divide up the weeks. Jan. – March no work is done. May is done by H & S. September would be H & S. Nov. and Dec. again no one would be doing grounds work. Is it possible to contract the mowing of the lawn during the summer months with the same company that does the parish cemetery? Staci will ask the church office to get an estimate. No motion was taken.
