Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Congratulations!

2011 RCIA Newly Elect

The following individuals were received into full communion of the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil Service.  They committed themselves to the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) process last fall and happily received the sacraments of Baptism (three individuals), Confirmation and Eucharist after much study, prayer and preparation.

It is with much joy that we welcome them into our Catholic Faith!

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults -- RCIA is a series of group meetings for

received the sacrament(s) of Eucharist, Reconciliation or Confirmation -

or simply want to learn more abut their faith.

RCIA Parish Companions -- Attends weekly sessions with their candidate,

introduces their candidate to other parish members, shares information on

Catholic matters and discusses one's own faith struggles (Does NOT have to be

an expert in Catholic matters), prays for their candidate.

Classes are on Thursday evenings starting in the fall.
